Key Findings from the 2019 SCE Housing Survey
As part of the broader Survey of Consumer Expectations (SCE), the SCE Housing Survey provides information on consumers' housing-related experiences, behaviors, and expectations in the housing market. The latest survey, conducted in February, shows that respondents expected the growth rate of home prices in their zip codes to decline somewhat relative to last year. A large majority of households continue to view housing as a good financial investment, although the share believing that housing is a “very good investment” declined in all regions of the country.
